Barcelona Forward Lamine Yamal has won the Kopa trophy for the best U-21 player in the world for the second year running following his win in 2024.
Lamine Yamal won the 2024 Golden Boy award on 27 November 2024, becoming the youngest ever recipient of the prize, which is awarded by Italian newspaper Tuttosport to the best European men’s player under 21 player.
Lamine Yamal enjoyed a breakout 2024/25 campaign with Barcelona and Spain. Across all competitions for Barcelona, he made 55 appearances, scoring 18 goals and registering 25 assists.
