Role Overview:
TotalEnergies is seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Superintendent to lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of excellence in health and environmental standards. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory frameworks in all operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures for operations.
- Lead risk assessment initiatives and ensure the effective management of safety risks.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
- Promote a safety-first culture through training, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
- Report HSE performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in HSE management in the energy, oil, or gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Leadership and communication skills to inspire and engage diverse teams.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Experience with emergency response planning and incident investigation.
