The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) is hiring a Public Affairs & Reform Intelligence Officer in Abuja to serve as a strategic intelligence monitor and liaison between the NESG and its development partners.
The officer is responsible for conducting daily monitoring of the “Authorising Environment” to track legislative and regulatory reforms that influence policy decision-makers.
Additionally, the role focuses on maintaining comprehensive stakeholder databases, supporting high-level policy dialogues, and tracking the implementation of Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) recommendations to ensure long-term policy impact.

Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations or Law.
– 2-3 years’ professional experience in a similar role within a Think Tank, NGO or Government Relations environment.
– Any certification in Policy Analysis, Project Management (PMP) or Data Analytics is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
– Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
– Organisation, project management and time management skills
– High level discretion and diplomacy
– Proficient in Political Intelligence gathering and Stakeholder Mapping
– Strong ability to simplify complex economic data for non-technical audiences
– Familiarity with the Nigerian legislative and executive processes
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
