The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, has announced that admissions into its 11th Regular Cadet Course for the 2024/2025 academic session officially closed on April 4, 2025. In a strong public advisory, the Academy’s Commandant, AIG Patrick Adedeji Atayero (B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, PSC), urged the public to exercise caution against fraudulent individuals and websites falsely offering provisional admissions.
According to a statement signed by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Musa Isah (MNIP, MNSPS), the Commandant emphasized that no further admissions are being processed. He warned parents, guardians, and prospective cadets to disregard any ongoing advertisements or unsolicited communications claiming to facilitate admission into the institution.
“The Academy has not authorized any person or platform to continue admissions or to collect money for such purposes,” AIG Atayero stated. He stressed that the Nigeria Police Academy upholds a transparent admission process and disassociates itself from any unofficial channels promoting fraudulent offers.
The Commandant advised the public to verify all official information directly through the Academy’s official website, http://polac.edu.ng, and encouraged the reporting of any suspicious activities. Members of the public can contact the Academy through the following numbers: 09032267567 or 08033832051.
The Nigeria Police Academy reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the integrity of its admission process and safeguarding prospective cadets and their families from falling victim to scams.
