Road Repairs Flurry across Lagos

The Lagos State government has recently embarked upon numerous road repair projects across different areas in the state. The Oworonshoki/Third Mainland Bridge Emergency Repair Programme, which began on May 6, is expected to conclude around September 23.

The government has also resumed the second phase of repairs on the Ogudu-Ifako Bridge, which has led to restricted movement, lane closures, and increased congestion across key traffic corridors. The road repairs have led to partial closures on both the Third Mainland and Ogudu-Ifako bridges particularly during morning and evening rush hours, despite diversions being put in place.
