– Phase III CVR begins on 11th May 2026 (with online pre-registration and in-person registration at INEC offices).
– It will run until 10th July 2026 (though some public announcements mention the broader CVR window closing on 17th August 2026).
– The exercise supports **new voter registration** (for those who have turned 18), **transfer of voter registration**, and related updates.
– Registration typically occurs at INEC state/LGA offices on weekdays (usually 9am–3pm).
– After registration closes, there will be a period for the **display of the voters’ register for claims and objections** (expected late August 2026).
This is the third and final major window in the 2025–2026 CVR cycle. Earlier phases saw millions of registrations, with INEC pushing for higher completion rates through both online and physical processes.
Eligible citizens (especially first-time voters aged 18+) should visit the official portal cvr.inecnigeria.org for pre-registration or head to the nearest INEC office for in-person registration during this window.
