The Federal Ministry of Education has introduced the Inspire Live(s) Online Real-Time Classes Initiative, a nationwide digital learning programme designed to give every Nigerian child access to quality education regardless of location or background.
The ministry announced the rollout in a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Folasade Boriowo, on Tuesday, describing the programme as a major step toward achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the education sector.
A Response to Nigeria’s Education Challenges
According to the ministry, Inspire Live(s) was created to address persistent issues such as the shortage of qualified teachers, learning disruptions, and unequal access to quality instruction.
By streaming live, interactive classes directly to learners, the initiative “democratizes access to quality education and ensures that no child is left behind,” the statement said.
