Airtel Africa Senior Independent Non-Executive Director Andrew Green Retires From Board

Airtel Africa Plc has announced that Andrew Green, the company’s Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire from the Board following the conclusion of its meeting on 29 January 2026.

Upon his retirement, Tsega Gebreyes will assume the role of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director. Gebreyes, who joined the Board on 12 October 2021, currently chairs the Remuneration Committee and serves on the Nominations Committee. She will continue as a member of the Remuneration Committee after her new appointment.

In addition, Cynthia Gordon will succeed Gebreyes as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and will also join the Nominations Committee.

The Board expressed its appreciation to Mr. Green for his distinguished service and significant contributions to Airtel Africa’s growth and governance.
