The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that online registration for the 2026 Batch C exercise would commence on Monday, September 7 and run till Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The scheme also warned prospective corps members that National Education Records Database (NERD) clearance is compulsory before they can complete their NYSC registration.
According to the notice posted by the NYSC on X on Friday, all PCMs are required to obtain their NERD Clearance Certificate before commencing the registration process.
The NYSC advised prospective corps members to obtain their NERD clearance early to avoid delays in their mobilisation.
“NERD clearance is compulsory for all PCMs,” the notice stated.
“No NERD clearance, no NYSC registration.” it added.
