SunTrust Bank Nigeria Limited has appointed Kudi Badmus as Executive Director, reinforcing its leadership team as the institution pursues its next phase of growth and market expansion.
Badmus is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds a degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University. She brings more than three decades of professional experience spanning banking, energy, finance, and infrastructure.
Over the course of her career, she has held several senior executive positions across major Nigerian institutions. She served as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Eterna Plc, where she played a key role in capital raising initiatives, financial restructuring, and business expansion programmes.
She also served as Chief Financial and Risk Officer at ASO Savings and Loans Plc, and previously held treasury and senior finance roles at Bond Bank, now Polaris Bank, as well as First City Monument Bank.
More recently, she held managing director roles at Sunbeth Energies and Resort Savings and Loans Plc.
Badmus is also Founder and Director of Fort Capital Ltd, where she leads investment strategy and partnership development.
Her appointment is expected to enhance SunTrust Bank’s execution capacity as the lender scales operations, strengthens governance, and deepens its presence in Nigeria’s competitive banking sector.
