Role Overview: General Manager – Nigeria
The General Manager will provide overall leadership for Aggreko’s Nigeria business, with responsibility for revenue growth, EBITDA performance, market strategy, and team development.
The role also involves representing Aggreko externally with customers, government institutions, and key stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a senior leader with deep experience in energy solutions, services-led businesses, and sales-driven environments, particularly within Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that anticipate market dynamics and unlock growth
- Drive day-to-day business performance across revenue, EBITDA, utilisation, working capital, customer satisfaction, and safety
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership and operational team aligned with Aggreko’s Africa regional strategy
- Champion Aggreko’s culture, values, and leadership behaviours
- Manage and develop talent to meet current and future business needs
- Engage major customers and maintain strong relationships with government and regulatory institutions
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, regulations, and governance standards

Professional Background
- Proven general management experience, leading comparable businesses
- Strong track record of delivering revenue and EBITDA growth
- Relevant experience in the energy sector, particularly solutions and services
- Demonstrated experience leading sales-driven organisations
