Role Accountabilities

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track, analyze, and report organizational performance against corporate objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and management reports for the department’s head review.
    • Validate and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting sources.
    • Highlight performance gaps, trends, and emerging risks that require the Head of department’s attention
  • Corporate Planning & Alignment
    • Support corporate goals cascade into departmental scorecards and action plans.
    • Support the coordination and monitoring of the company’s strategic initiatives.
    • Work closely with business units to ensure their performance objectives align with the company’s profitability and service improvement goals.
  • Insights & Decision Support
    • Conduct performance analysis to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions for departments/business units supported.
    • Provide timely insights to support management decision-making.
    • Participate in periodic business performance reviews, offering data-backed perspectives.
  • Performance Governance
    • Support the implementation of IE’s performance management framework and compliance with reporting standards.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of performance management tools, templates, and processes.
    • Assist in tracking the completion of agreed action items from department, management, and strategy sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or any related field.
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in corporate performance management, business analysis, or data analytics.
  • Experience in the power or utilities sector is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Performance Management & Reporting – Proficiency in developing and tracking KPIs, performance dashboards, and scorecards across departments.
  • Data Analytics & Interpretation – Strong ability to collect, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable insights.
  • Business Intelligence Tools – Skilled in using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) for visualization and reporting.
  • Strategic Planning & Corporate Alignment – Understanding of corporate planning processes, goal setting, and alignment of departmental objectives with business strategy.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance – Knowledge of data validation techniques and best practices to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Financial & Operational Analysis – Ability to interpret financial and operational metrics to support management decisions.
  • Performance Governance & Framework Implementation – Understanding of performance management frameworks and compliance reporting standards.
  • Presentation & Communication Skills – Competence in preparing management reports, executive dashboards, and delivering data-backed insights clearly.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency Analysis – Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Technology Proficiency – Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), performance tracking software, and corporate planning tools.
