Roles and Responsibilities
You will need to:
- Analyse financial data, interpreting financial results, and evaluating profit margins
- Have experience with financial modelling and preparing detailed financial forecasts
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and preparing cost projections
- Have a strong understanding of financial statements and capital planning for internal projects
- Monitor both economic trends and microeconomic conditions to inform strategic decisions
- Be able to develop detailed financial plans and contribute to long-term business planning
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures that support operational efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when working with sensitive financial data
- Present financial insights clearly and support decision-making across teams
Requirements
You ideally need to have:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting financial data and building financial models
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements, profit analysis, and capital planning
- Understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic factors and their business implications
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Excel and/or financial software tools (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
