Thomas Frank Tottenham sack

Tottenham Hotspur have parted company with head coach Thomas Frank following a disastrous run of form that has dragged the North London club into a relegation fight.

The 52-year-old Dane departs with Spurs sitting 16th in the Premier League table, only five points clear of the drop zone after managing just two wins in their last 17 matches. The club hierarchy is understood to be working through contingency plans as it weighs up both interim and permanent replacement options.

Frank recorded seven wins, eight draws, and ten losses in the league, producing a win rate of under 30%, which placed him among the lowest-performing managers to lead a traditional “Big Six” club in recent Premier League history.

Tottenham also endured an eight-match winless league run during his time, representing one of the club’s poorest sequences since 2008 in addition to winning only about 18% of league matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Collapse in Form

Frank’s dismissal follows months of mounting pressure. Despite early optimism around his appointment and tactical approach, results have deteriorated sharply. Spurs have struggled for consistency, conceding soft goals while failing to convert chances at the other end.

The current league position represents one of the club’s most precarious moments in recent seasons, with supporters increasingly voicing frustration over performances and direction.

With 12 matches remaining in the campaign, Tottenham’s immediate priority is securing safety. The congested lower half of the table means a short winning run could lift the club clear but further setbacks would intensify the threat.
