Tony Elumelu’s Transcorp Group Records N91.4 Billion Profit in Q3 2025

Transcorp attributed the strong results to its resilient business model and effective execution of strategic initiatives

Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group) has recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of N91.4 billion IN Q3 2025. This is an increase from N75.9 billion in the same period of  2024. This growth underscores sustained profitability and operational efficiency across its subsidiaries.

According to the group’s financial statement filed on the NGX, the group’s revenue surged 39% year-on-year. It climbed from N297.7 billion in Q3 2024 to N413.4 billion in Q3 2025.

Profit before tax (PBT) also recorded a healthy growth of 18%, reaching N124.5 billion compared to N105.5 billion in the same period last year.

Transcorp attributed the strong results to its resilient business model and effective execution of strategic initiatives. All operating units reported robust performance. There were notable gains from increased power generation capacity at its power plants. Additionally, expansion in the hospitality segment followed the addition of the new 5,000-capacity Transcorp Centre in Abuja.

Group’s Reaction

The group’s chairman, Tony Elumelu, attributed the growth to the group’s diversified portfolio and the opportunities inherent in it.
