Share Buy – Back: Airtel Africa Reclaim 15,000 Ordinary Shares From Barclays Capital Securities Limited

Airtel Africa plc has announced that it has purchased a total of 15,000 ordinary shares of $0.50 each. These were purchased from Barclays Capital Securities Limited. This is in line with the authority granted by its shareholders under the company’s ongoing share buy-back programme.

Airtel Africa confirmed that the purchased shares will be cancelled. The transactions were executed pursuant to the revised buy-back arrangements entered into with Barclays Capital Securities Limited on 22 September 2025.

  • Total shares purchased: 15,000

  • Lowest price paid per share: 226.80 p

  • Highest price paid per share: 229.20 p

  • Volume-weighted average price: 228.18 p

Since the commencement of the first tranche of Airtel Africa’s US $100 million share buy-back programme, announced on 23 December 2024, the company has repurchased a total of 40,533,115 ordinary shares at a volume-weighted average price of 151.1574 p per share.
