Airtel Africa plc has announced that it has purchased a total of 15,000 ordinary shares of $0.50 each. These were purchased from Barclays Capital Securities Limited. This is in line with the authority granted by its shareholders under the company’s ongoing share buy-back programme.
Airtel Africa confirmed that the purchased shares will be cancelled. The transactions were executed pursuant to the revised buy-back arrangements entered into with Barclays Capital Securities Limited on 22 September 2025.
