Oando has appointed Mrs. Folasade Ibidapo-Obe as the Company’s new Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary, effective August 8, 2025 succeeding Ms. Ayotola Jagun.
The appointment was announced in a letter to the NGX dated August 8, 2025. In accordance with the applicable rules of Nigerian Exchange Limited (“NGX”), the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Oando PLC (“Oando” or the “Company”) hereby notifies the NGX, its shareholders other stakeholders of the appointment of Mrs. Folasade Ibidapo-Obe as the new Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of the Company, effective August 8, 2025. Mrs. Folasade Ibidapo-Obe succeeds Ms. Ayotola Jagun, who previously served in this capacity.” The letter read in part.

She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Ontario Bar Association. A dual-qualified lawyer, Mrs. Ibidapo-Obe is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and has been called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario, Canada—reflecting her strong commitment to ethical business practices, robust corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Mrs. Ibidapo-Obe began her career at Strachan Partners and has since held roles at Ocean and Oil Holdings Nigeria, Oando Energy Resources Inc. (Toronto, Canada), and Enghouse Systems. She most recently served as Assistant Corporate Secretary at Magna International Inc., Aurora, Canada, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.
