Meta Unveils Muse Spark to Power Next-Generation AI Experiences

The rollout of Muse Spark will begin in the United States, with global expansion expected in the coming weeks.

Meta

Meta has launched Muse Spark, a new large language model developed by its internal AI division, Meta Superintelligence Labs, marking a major step toward more personalized and context-aware artificial intelligence across its platforms.

The release signals Meta’s push toward what it calls “personal superintelligence”—AI systems designed not just to answer questions, but to deeply understand users’ preferences, behavior, and real-world context.

Smaller Model, Bigger Ambition

Muse Spark is the first model in Meta’s new “Muse” series. While built to be smaller and more efficient, it is described as the company’s most powerful AI system yet, capable of handling complex reasoning across fields such as science, mathematics, and health.

The model already powers the Meta AI assistant on the Meta AI app and website, with plans to expand across key platforms including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger, as well as future AI-enabled hardware like smart glasses.

Meta is also preparing to offer early API access to selected partners through a private preview.

Multi-Agent Intelligence and Faster Responses

A major upgrade comes in the form of a more advanced Meta AI assistant. The system can now deploy multiple “sub-agents” simultaneously, allowing it to break down complex queries and solve them faster and more accurately.

This multi-agent approach significantly improves both speed and quality, particularly for tasks requiring deeper reasoning.

Multimodal Capabilities Expand Use Cases

Muse Spark introduces enhanced multimodal functionality, enabling the AI to process both text and visual inputs. Users can now interact with the assistant in more intuitive ways—such as analyzing images, comparing products, or extracting insights from real-world visuals.

This capability is expected to be especially impactful in areas like healthcare and commerce, where context-rich interpretation is critical.

From Prompts to Products

The model also expands creative and functional possibilities. Users can generate websites, dashboards, and mini-games directly from prompts using visual coding tools.

Meta is further integrating the assistant into social and shopping experiences, leveraging content from across its ecosystem to deliver more personalized recommendations.

Gradual Rollout, Global Expansion Ahead

The rollout of Muse Spark will begin in the United States, with global expansion expected in the coming weeks. Over time, Meta plans to integrate richer content—such as posts, images, and videos—directly into AI interactions.

Muse Spark represents more than just a model upgrade—it reflects Meta’s long-term ambition to redefine how users interact with technology.

By combining personalization, multimodal understanding, and multi-agent reasoning, the company is laying the groundwork for AI systems that move beyond assistance toward true contextual intelligence.
