First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has appointed Ms. Oluyinka Johnson as a Non-Executive Director, following approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
This move is aimed at reinforcing the bank’s governance framework and driving sustainable growth across its operations.
Extensive Leadership Experience
Ms. Johnson brings over 20 years of experience leading strategic initiatives in financial and business sectors. She held key positions at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, including Group Head of First Shared Services Banking Operations and Head of Corporate Transformation, where she oversaw multiple operational units and championed automation and process optimisation.
Entrepreneurial and Advisory Background
Before her corporate roles, Oluyinka co-founded Integrated Business Strategies, advising top financial institutions on strategy development, transformation, and organisational restructuring. Early in her career, she worked as a Development Engineer in the UK and USA pharmaceutical sectors.
A WimBoard Fellow, Ms. Johnson is committed to corporate governance, innovation, and promoting women in leadership. Educational Excellence
Oluyinka holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of South Bank, London, and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. Her appointment underscores FCMB’s dedication to inclusive leadership and responsible banking practices.
