Phil Foden struck in the 1st and 90+1st minutes, with Joško Gvardiol adding a 25th-minute header as Manchester City survived a second-half Leeds fightback to win 3-2.
Leeds pulled one back through Calvert-Lewin (49’) and equalised from the spot via Nmecha (68’), but Nmecha later blazed a second penalty over. City held on through eight minutes of stoppage time despite a flurry of cards and late pressure.
A vital three points for Pep Guardiola’s side; heartbreak for Leeds after a spirited comeback fell just short.
