Linkage Assurance Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Anthony Kanayo Katchy and Mr. Suaye Inikio Banigo as Non-Executive Directors of the Company, following approval by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
In a regulatory notification to the public, the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), and shareholders, the company said the appointments take effect from January 20, 2026.
Anthony Katchy
Mr. Anthony Kanayo Katchy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from the University of Benin. He is a registered stockbroker and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tokacy Investment Services Ltd. Katchy brings over 30 years of experience as a stockbroker and financial adviser, with deep expertise in capital markets and investment management.
Suaye Iniko Banigo
Mr. Suaye Inikio Banigo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in Japanese, from Vassar College, New York, as well as an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain. He has more than 15 years of experience driving digital transformation and innovation for high-growth organisations. Banigo is currently a Principal Consultant at Karma Advisory, based in New York.
Linkage Assurance said the newly appointed directors bring a strong combination of financial markets expertise, strategic advisory experience, and digital transformation leadership, which is expected to enhance the effectiveness of the Board and support the company’s long-term growth strategy.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to sound corporate governance and value creation for shareholders.
