International Breweries plc has appointed Mrs. Toyin Adeniji, a former Executive Director of Micro-Enterprises at the Bank of Industry (BOI) between 2016 and 2023, to its board as a non-executive director.
This is part of key changes to the company’s board which recently witnessed the resignation of Mr. Sunday Omole, as a Non-Executive Director from the Board.
About Toyin Adeniji
Toyin Adeniji is a finance professional with over 28 years of experience who served as the Executive Director of Micro-Enterprises at the Bank of Industry (BOI) from 2016 until her retirement in March 2023.
She is noted for leading the implementation of the federal government’s Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), which provided micro-credit schemes like TraderMoni and MarketMoni to millions of beneficiaries.
She has also held senior positions at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she led strategic initiatives, global partnerships, and innovative financing solutions. She currently serves on the board of Nigerian Aluminum Extrusion Company (NIGALEX) leading strategy and growth.
International Breweries’ Other Board Changes
International Breweries Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Temitope Oluwatosin as the Company Secretary /General Counsel effective 04 August 2025.
Temitope previously served as Head of Legal (Africa) at PZ Cussons, where she also held the position of Company Secretary to 5 subsidiaries, including HPZ Limited and PZ Wilmar Limited. She has also previously worked as Legal Counsel at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.
