An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan has docked a 38-year-old housewife, Temitayo Adefioye, for allegedly threatening to kill her former husband, Mr. Akintomide Oladotun.
Allegations Against the Defendant
The prosecution, led by Inspector Olagoke Adegbenro, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on August 13 at Badeku, Ibadan.

Charges and Legal Provisions
The housewife is facing charges of assault, threat to life, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
According to the prosecution, her alleged actions contravened Sections 351, 86, and 249(d) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Bail Conditions
Magistrate Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair granted the defendant bail in the sum of ₦100,000, with two sureties in like sum. She ordered that the sureties must be blood relatives of the defendant.
The case was adjourned until December 9 for hearing.
