Step by Step Process
Firstly, make your NIN number available. Now go to your browser, type taxid.jlb.gov.ng or taxid.nrs.gov.ng to visit the official website and you will be landed here.
To retrieve individual tax IDs, select individual. Under the tax ID retrieval method, choose National Identification Number (NIN) as your preferred method.
Then enter your National Identification Number (NIN) then click on Retrieve Tax ID. Now, you will be required to verify your identity by inputting your first name, your last name, and your date of birth.
Then, check a box to declare that the data submitted should be used for identity verification purpose and click Submit. Your NIN will be verified and your tax ID shall display on the page.
