US-based Nigerian Dr. Iyabo Webzell stands at the nexus of pediatric care, women’s empowerment, faith and purpose, coaching, and digital entrepreneurship.
Born and raised in Lagos, she obtained her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. By age 23, she had completed internship and soon relocated to the United Kingdom. There, she practiced pediatrics for four years before moving to the United States in 1998. In New York’s Bronx Lebanon Hospital, she completed her pediatric residency (1998–2001). She later planted roots in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has operated Milestone Pediatrics since 2004.
Milestone Pediatrics
At Milestone Pediatrics, Dr. Webzell has built her reputation not just as a clinician but as a caretaker of community and trust. Her mission is preventive care delivered in Pediatrics, a warm, welcoming environment, empowering families to take charge of children’s health. Beyond clinical work, she lent her expertise to Flo Health, where she served on the medical board. She contributed pediatric content and patient education materials.

She often writes about this “single season” as a period of deep reclamation and alignment. In 2020, she got married via a Zoom wedding to her English husband.
A Turn Toward Voice, Authorship & Influence
After her father’s unexpected passing in late 2015, Dr. Webzell found solace and purpose in writing. That experience catalyzed her journey beyond medicine into authorship and personal development. Her debut book, Permanent Happiness, emerged shortly thereafter. She now writes regularly through her blog, “The Peace Place,” sharing reflections on healing, growth, faith, personal transformation, and relationships.
She has extended her voice onto global stages, appearing at United Nations events such as the SDG Media Zone (2017) and the ECOSOC Youth Forum (2018). In these venues, she discussed peace, intergenerational connection, and human potential.
As her public presence evolved, Dr. Webzell transitioned into business, lifestyle, and relationship coaching—particularly for women and professionals (notably physicians). On LinkedIn, she frames herself as a coach. She guides clients toward deeper impact, sustainable success, and freedom from burnout. Her platform, Dr. Iyabo’s School, delivers online courses, coaching bundles, and transformational content.
In 2019, she launched the “Women Without Guilt” conference through “A Dr. Iyabo Event,” which quickly became a hallmark in her mission to empower women to live boldly, without self-reproach or limitation. The second iteration was held virtually during the pandemic.
Dr. Webzell also positions herself as the “Money to Honey Coach,” merging financial wellness, personal development, and relational insight. In a 2021 podcast conversation, she spoke candidly about entrepreneurship, dating, and life transitions.
Her courses and coaching often center around clarity, financial freedom, self-belief, and integrating professional and personal life. Testimonials on her website testify to the transformative impact she has had on clients’ confidence, clarity, and sense of mission.
Views on Immigration
Having moved from Lagos → UK → USA, Dr. Webzell’s decision to immigrate was driven by desire for career progression and opportunity. In an article about dating she refers to how life as a physician in England “was not what we expected … we decided to make the move to the land of big dreams — the USA.” She therefore advocates for migration to the US instead of the UK or other European countries.
