Coronation Group has officially listed its N8.79 billion Coronation Infrastructure Fund (CIF) on the Main Board of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), marking a significant entry into Nigeria’s alternative investment landscape. The listing, announced on August 25, 2025, follows the successful close of the fund’s Series 1 Offer in 2024.
A total of 87.9 million units were admitted to trading at N100 per unit, giving CIF an initial market value of N8.79 billion. Coronation described the product as a liquid investment vehicle designed to attract broad participation from investors seeking infrastructure-led growth opportunities.
The fund is tailored for institutional and retail investors seeking long-term exposure to Nigeria’s infrastructure development. Coronation Asset Management Limited, which manages the fund, highlighted its role as a professionally managed platform for channeling capital into critical economic sectors.

Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede, CEO of Coronation Asset Management, said the initiative aligns with the firm’s philosophy of creating products that drive sustainable economic impact. He noted that CIF is built on market insight, strong governance, and the ambition to address Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit while generating wealth sustainably.
Mayowa Ikotun, Head of the Coronation Infrastructure Fund, emphasized that the listing marks a turning point for infrastructure investment in Nigeria. He explained that CIF represents a democratization of infrastructure financing, making it accessible to a wider pool of investors.
The launch underscores Coronation’s commitment to turning strategic vision into investable opportunities. By offering liquidity and accessibility, the fund provides a new pathway for Nigerians to participate in infrastructure development while diversifying their portfolios.
CIF’s roots trace back to its 2024 Series 1 commercial paper issuance, which raised N8.79 billion at a subscription rate of 43.95%. This performance was the highest recorded for a debut infrastructure fund in Nigeria, surpassing earlier debut rates of 33.75% and 24.70%.
