The Board Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General A. M. Jibril (rtd), has represented the Chairman of the Board and Minister of Interior at the passing-out parade of the 33rd Assistant Superintendent of Corrections (ASC) Basic Course (International).
The ceremony was held at the Correctional Service Staff College in Kaduna and brought together senior officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, and invited guests.
Speaking through his representative, the Interior Minister commended the graduating officers for completing the rigorous training programme and charged them to uphold professionalism, discipline, and integrity in the discharge of their duties.

He also reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to strengthening the correctional system through continuous capacity building and international-standard training.
The event featured inspection of the guard of honour, parade drills, and presentations, marking another milestone in efforts to enhance human capital development within Nigeria’s correctional services.
