Barcelona claimed a vital 3-1 victory over Elche at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Sunday, with Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, and Marcus Rashford all finding the net in a performance that blended youthful flair with clinical finishing.
The breakthrough came early when 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 9th minute, coolly slotting home after a slick assist from Alejandro Balde.
Just two minutes later, Ferran Torres doubled the lead, capitalizing on a precise through ball from Fermin Lopez to fire past Elche’s goalkeeper.

Elche showed resilience and pulled one back just before halftime through Rafa Mir in the 42nd minute, giving the visitors hope heading into the break.
But Barcelona restored their two-goal cushion in the 61st minute with Marcus Rashford, making his presence felt since his high-profile loan move.
Despite late pressure and a string of substitutions from both sides—including Robert Lewandowski replacing Rashford in the 74th minute—Barcelona held firm to secure all three points.
The win keeps Hansi Flick’s side in the hunt at the top of La Liga, while Elche remain rooted in the relegation battle.
Final Score: Barcelona 3-1 Elche
Goals: Yamal 9′, Torres 11′, Rashford 61′ | Rafa Mir 42′
