Role Overview
The Senior Digital Producer will oversee the end-to-end production of multimedia content, anchoring on radio and TV while expanding storytelling across digital platforms, social media, and interactive formats.
The role involves driving a multi-platform narrative strategy, ensuring content is audience-focused, data-informed, and aligned with BBC editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of integrated digital and broadcast content
- Develop and execute digital content strategy using audience insights
- Oversee multi-platform storytelling across radio, digital, and community channels
- Direct studio and field production
- Manage and mentor production staff, including Digital and Assistant Producers
- Monitor performance metrics and optimise content for reach and engagement
- Ensure compliance with BBC editorial standards, safeguarding, and data protection
- Build internal capacity in digital storytelling and audience engagement
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital and multimedia content production
- Strong leadership background managing production teams
- Deep understanding of Nigeria’s social media landscape
- Excellent editorial judgement aligned with BBC standards
- Strong writing skills in English and Hausa
- Experience using analytics to drive content performance
- Proficiency in multimedia tools and digital publishing platforms
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
