Apapa Customs Collects ₦215 Billion via B’Odogwu Platform

The Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) collected ₦215 billion in revenue during August 2025 using the Unified Customs Management System (UCMS), also known as B’Odogwu, despite reported network glitches.

Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, the Customs Area Controller, attributed this achievement to increased stakeholder confidence, officer resilience, and continuous improvements in the B’Odogwu system.

He praised stakeholders, including importers, exporters, and customs agents, for their support and trust in the system at Nigeria’s premier Apapa port.

Olomu highlighted the leadership of Comptroller General Adewale Adeniyi in fostering stakeholder engagement and directed the NCS ICT/Modernisation Department to address technical issues promptly to enhance service delivery.

He expressed optimism about the platform’s future, emphasizing its role in revolutionizing trade facilitation and boosting Nigeria’s economy.
