AFC Capital Partners (ACP) seeks a commercially astute Consultant – Fundraising & Product Specialist to support capital raising, investor engagement, and product positioning across its alternative investment strategies.

This role is suited to an investment professional with strong exposure to real assets or private markets who can operate credibly at the intersection of investment teams and institutional investors.

The successful candidate will contribute across the full fund lifecycle—from structuring and positioning through capital raising and ongoing investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising & Investor Engagement

Support fundraising activities across ACP’s investment products.

Serve as a product and market specialist in meetings with institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth platforms.

Articulate strategy, track record, performance drivers, and market outlook clearly and credibly.

Prepare and respond to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), RFIs, and ad-hoc investor requests.

Participate in roadshows, investor meetings, and industry conferences as required.

2. Product Specialist & Content Development

Develop and refine high-quality investor materials, including:

Pitch decks

Information memoranda

Fund presentations

Factsheets

Quarterly and annual reports

Market commentary

Translate complex fund structures and investment strategies into clear, compelling messaging.

Ensure all communications align with ACP’s investment philosophy and brand positioning.

Provide regular updates to both internal stakeholders and external investors.

3. Product Development & Fund Structuring

Support the establishment of new funds and strategies alongside legal, tax, and finance advisors.

Contribute to fund positioning, product strategy, and go-to-market messaging.

Assist with regulatory documentation and investor approval materials.

4. Market & Competitive Intelligence

Monitor developments across infrastructure, energy transition, real assets, and private markets.

Conduct competitor analysis to support fundraising strategy and product positioning.

Provide insights on capital flows, investor sentiment, and evolving institutional requirements.

5. Internal Collaboration

Maintain deep familiarity with portfolios, transactions, and pipeline activity.

Collaborate with investment, legal, finance, marketing, and business development teams.

Serve as a trusted internal advisor on investor messaging and product strategy.

Competency & Skill Requirements

Strong understanding of alternative investments, particularly infrastructure, energy transition, and private markets.

Experience supporting or leading capital raising initiatives.

Exceptional written communication skills; able to produce institutional-grade materials.

Confident verbal communicator with experience engaging sophisticated investors.

Strong organisational capability; able to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

Commercial mindset and comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Analytical, market-aware, and strategically grounded.

Collaborative and execution-focused.

Key Performance Indicators

Effective support of fundraising and investor relations for ACP’s funds under management (including the Infrastructure Climate Resilient Fund).

Leadership in marketing, branding, thought leadership, and fund positioning.

Contribution to the design and launch of new fund products.

Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across investment, legal, and finance teams.

Minimum Qualifications

4–5+ years of experience in asset management, investment banking, private markets, consulting, or wealth management.

Direct exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or product specialist roles.

Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification required.
