Key Responsibilities
• Support origination and management of new clients and opportunities within the sector, across Africa.
• Build, interrogate and maintain detailed financial models for valuation, project finance, and M&A purposes for transaction processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment on transactions
• Evaluate capital structures, forecast financial performance, and assess the impact of various financing structures within the process of developing tailored financing solutions for clients.
• Prepare transaction materials including pitch books, financial models, valuation analyses, and investment appraisals.
• Undertake research and analysis, including on prospective clients and companies, to provide sound basis for investment decisions.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective clients and transactions.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Experience in investment banking, project finance, or corporate finance—particularly within the energy sector—is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; French is strongly preferred
