Bayern Munich and England forward Harry Kane has emerged winner of the 2026 Balon D’or following an incredible season where he scored 61 goals for club and country.
The striker emerged victorious over Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele in addition to winning the award for the best forward of the year.
He becomes the first English player to win the Ballon d’Or in 25 years.
Excellent Season
Since the start of last season, Harry Kane had broken the record for the fewest games needed to reach 100 German Bundesliga goals (98)
He also became the first player in Bundesliga history to finish as the top goalscorer in each of his first three seasons in the competition and just the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo to score in 10 consecutive Champions League games.
The clinical marksman scored 69 goals in 60 games for Bayern.
