Professor Abejide (Jide) Ade-Ibijola has emerged as one of Africa’s leading voices in artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and technology-driven innovation.

A Nigerian-born academic, researcher, and educator, he has built an international reputation for combining cutting-edge AI research with practical solutions that address challenges in education, business, finance, healthcare, and public policy.

Based primarily at the Johannesburg Business School (JBS), University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa, Ade-Ibijola serves as Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Applications. He also directs the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (with a Digital Transformation Lens) and has previously served as Acting Academic Director, helping shape the institution’s digital leadership agenda.
