Access ARM Pensions has appointed Sa’adu A. Jijji as its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, bringing to the role more than two decades of experience spanning pension fund administration, investment management, actuarial consulting, telecommunications, banking and corporate strategy.

Jijji succeeds to the leadership of one of Nigeria’s largest pension fund administrators at a time when the country’s pension industry is experiencing rapid asset growth and increasing demand for innovation, governance and long-term capital deployment.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University.

Corporate Background

A seasoned financial services executive, Jijji most recently served as Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pension Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions), where he led the management of pension assets exceeding ₦1.2 trillion and drove improvements in business growth, operational efficiency, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Prior to his appointment as Acting CEO, he served as Executive Director (Technical) at PAL Pensions, with responsibility for investment management, business development, branding and human resources. During his tenure, the company strengthened its market position and expanded its retirement savings account base.

Before joining PAL Pensions, Jijji was Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria, where he spent nearly six years leading the firm’s financial services and pension consulting operations. His career in the pension industry also includes leadership roles at Premium Pension Limited, where he served as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investments, overseeing pension assets valued at approximately ₦320 billion and helping shape the company’s investment strategy.

Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions at MTN Nigeria, including Regional Manager for Northern Nigeria and National Customer Intelligence Manager. At MTN, he was credited with overseeing large-scale network expansion, managing sizeable operational teams and contributing to the company’s commercial growth during a formative period for Nigeria’s telecommunications industry.

He also worked at Citi as a banking officer and senior analyst, adding international financial services experience to a career that has traversed multiple sectors of the economy.

Beyond corporate leadership, Jijji founded Sangrom Nigeria Limited, an investment management and advisory firm focused on commodities, agriculture, private equity and strategic investments.
