Presco Plc has appointed Mr. François Van Hoydonck as a Non-Executive of Director.
Mr. François Van Hoydonck is a seasoned business executive and finance professional with over four decades of experience in the agribusiness and plantation sector.
The Belgian national born on 29 August 1959 holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Tax Law from St. Eligius Business School, Antwerp, Belgium, and has been a member of the Institute for Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB) since 1983.
Mr. François Van Hoydonck commenced his professional career with SIPEF in July 1979 and has since played significant leadership roles within the Group.
He served as Chief Financial Officer of SIPEF from February 1995 to August 2007, during which he was responsible for the Group’s financial management and strategic financial planning.
In September 2007, he was appointed Managing Director of SIPEF and also became a Director of the company.
During his tenure as Managing Director, which lasted until September 2024, he provided strategic leadership and contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Group’s International agribusiness operations.
Mr. François Van Hoydonck also serves as a Director of Jabelmalux SA and as a Non-Executive Director of Verdant Bioscience, Singapore.
He was appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director of the SIAT Group in June 2025.
Mr. François Van Hoydonck is expected to bring his extensive expertise in corporate governance, finance, international business management, and agribusiness operations to the fore in his new role.
