Cutix Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Uchechukwu Igbokwe as Acting Chief Executive Officer, pending the selection of a substantive CEO. The company also confirmed Mrs. Uche Okonkwo as Acting Chief Financial Officer, signaling an interim leadership transition at the cable manufacturing firm.
Mrs. Igbokwe currently serves as Assistant General Manager and Head of Strategy and Planning in the Office of the CEO. She brings decades of institutional knowledge and cross-functional leadership experience to the role, having joined Cutix Plc in 1992.
Over the course of her career, she has led several key divisions, including Enterprise Assurance, Commercial, Finance, Administration, the Anuka Plant, and Human Resources. Her broad exposure across operational and corporate units has positioned her as a central figure in driving organizational performance and long-term strategy.
An experienced management professional, Igbokwe holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Oko and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam. She is also a Certified Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems and an Associate of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
Her professional development includes executive training at Lagos Business School, where she completed courses in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Interpersonal Skills. She also participated in the “Complete Manager: Developing Competencies for Organizational Triumph” programme organized by Tom Associates.
In her new role, she is expected to provide strategic continuity, strengthen organizational capacity, and guide the company through its leadership transition phase.
New Acting Chief Financial Officer
Alongside this development, Cutix Plc has appointed Mrs. Uche Okonkwo as Acting Chief Financial Officer. A Chartered Accountant, Okonkwo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
She brings extensive experience in financial management, with expertise spanning financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance administration. Her appointment is expected to reinforce financial governance, improve reporting processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
The dual interim appointments reflect Cutix Plc’s effort to maintain operational stability and governance continuity while it searches for permanent executives.
