Nigerian Breweries is hiring a Risk/Compliance Support Officer in Lagos, Nigeria for its Closed Pension Fund Administrator.

This is an exciting opportunity as Compliance Officer in Progress Trust CPFA limited a Closed Pension Fund Administrator and a 100% owned subsidiary of Nigerian Breweries PLC.
Progress Trust CPFA has been in existence since 1954 as a pension fund administrator, professionally managing the Pensions and Exit benefits of employees of Nigerian Breweries PLC

The opening is for a driven and detail‑oriented Risk/ Compliance Support Officer to support the regulatory, risk, and control functions within our Closed Pension Fund Administrator (CPFA).
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the CPFA operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines set by authorities such as the National Pension Commission (PenCom) and other regulatory bodies.
Responsibility
- Ensure full compliance with the Pension Reform Act (PRA) 2014 (as amended), and all PENCOM regulations, codes, circulars, and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit all required monthly, quarterly, and annual returns/reports to PENCOM, including
Risk Management and Analysis System (RMAS) filings
- Conduct monthly compliance and risk checks and prepare compliance reports for management, Board, Committees, and PENCOM.
- Review and update compliance policies to reflect regulatory changes and current market realities.
- Identify, measure, and monitor emerging risks across the CPFA.
- Review risk-related policies in line with regulatory and process changes.
- Conduct control checks on investment, benefits, and data administration to ensure compliance with internal and PENCOM regulations.
- Verify accurate reconciliation of investment and GL balances with the Custodian.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other numerate discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial sector, Pension industry experience is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the Pension Reform Act (2014) and related regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with the Nigeria Data Privacy Act.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
