There is an opening for a highly experienced and strategic Export Sales Manager to oversee and manage all export sales operations across the West and Central African sub-regions.
This role is responsible for planning and executing export strategies, managing international partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating logistics operations to ensure efficient cross-border trade, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement export strategies aligned with the organization’s commercial objectives
- Identify, develop, and expand new business opportunities across assigned West & Central African markets
- Manage relationships with international business partners, customers, and distributors
- Coordinate export orders, payments, documentation, and deliveries with international partners
- Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and customs procedures
- Liaise with customs agents, shipping lines, and logistics vendors for clearance and shipment tracking
- Resolve export-related issues including delays, damages, documentation errors, and disputes
- Forecast market trends and monitor competitor activities to guide strategic planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all export transactions
- Oversee export logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Train and support team members on export processes and compliance standards
- Monitor and report sales performance and regional market trends to management
- Represent the organization at trade shows, exhibitions, and international business events
Requirements
Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Social Sciences, Applied Sciences, or related fields
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Export Sales and International Trade
- Proven experience in negotiation, international partner coordination, and foreign exchange transactions
- Strong understanding of global trade compliance, shipping, logistics, and international marketing
