The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised candidates interested in registering for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to commence the creation of profiles as the examination body prepares to commence registration for the examination.
Creating a JAMB Profile in Easy Steps
Step 1: Get Your National Identification Number (NIN)
You must have a valid NIN before creating a JAMB profile.

Visit any NIMC enrolment centre to register if you do not already have one.

Ensure the name and date of birth on your NIN are correct, as JAMB will use these details.
Step 2: Generate Your JAMB Profile Code

Step 3: Buy JAMB ePIN

Step 4: Register at an Accredited JAMB CBT Centre
