Who is Eligible to Apply?
To be considered for the 2025 UNESCO Graduate Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications
- Be at least 20 years old at the time of application.
- Be currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent).
- Have graduated with a Master’s degree or PhD (or an equivalent second degree) within the last 12 months.
- For technical and professional positions, applicants must be enrolled in or have graduated from a specialized technical/professional institution within the last 12 months.
- Undergraduate degree holders who are not enrolled in a graduate program are not eligible.
- Language Proficiency
- Candidates must have an excellent command (written and spoken) of English or French.
- A working knowledge of the second language (English or French) is an advantage and may be required for specific positions at UNESCO Headquarters.
- Documents submitted in other languages must include an unofficial English or French translation.
- Technical and Soft Skills
