Zenith Bank Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Kennedy Onuwa Okwudili as an Executive Director, effective May 1.

The Board of Directors of the bank made the announcement in an official filing with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on March 23, 2026.

This appointment aligns with Zenith Bank’s tradition of bolstering its board with experienced professionals to drive strategic growth, especially amid evolving regulatory and market conditions in Nigeria’s banking industry.

He has held multiple roles within the Nigerian banking industry, including roles linked to Zenith Bank Plc in his over two decades career in banking operations and financial management, positioning him within senior-level management or executive-track roles.

With over 25 years in banking, he has worked in credit, marketing, treasury, and compliance. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
