He is set to replace former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who resigned recently as Enugu state’s ministerial representative. This replacement is an example of Tinubu’s new minister nomination approach, aimed at revitalizing his team.

He also holds a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, with his doctoral research focusing on a comparative study of bidder remedies in South Africa and Nigeria. Political Career
In 2017, the Government of Enugu State appointed him as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Development Aid Coordination and Mobilisation, marking his first major public-service appointment at the state level.
In 2023, Dr Udeh was appointed as the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Enugu State. Since then, he has overseen the justice ministry, advancing legal reforms and public-sector regulatory frameworks in the state.
