Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, has said in a televised speech that the Islamic Republic “will not surrender” in the face of Israeli bombardment. He also threatened that if the U.S. takes military action against Iran, “it will undoubtedly cause irreparable consequences to the US.”
This message is the leader’s first response to the demand made by President Trump on Tuesday for the nation’s “unconditional surrender,” and threats to join Israel’s war against Iran, by ordering military strikes to take out Iran’s nuclear program.
Ali Khamenei said, “The Iranian nation stands firm against an imposed war, just as it will stand firm against an imposed peace, and this nation will not surrender to anyone in the face of imposition.

“Intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation, and its history will never speak to this nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender, and the Americans should know that any U.S. military intervention will undoubtedly cause irreparable harm to them.” He threatened.
Trump Threats
Trump had signaled his intention to join forces with Israel in a series of posts on Truth Social.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin,” Trump added before requesting unconditional surrender in a third post.
The US currently have about 47,000 troops in the region with further considerations to send around 30 aircrafts to bombard Iran especially its nuclear sites.
