With over 13 years of experience in financial reporting, controls, supply chain finance, forecasting, planning, commercial finance, and global audit, Sodipe brings a wealth of expertise to the role. His proven track record positions him as a key figure in advancing Unilever Nigeria’s business objectives.

Sodipe’s recent roles include serving as Financial Controller for Unilever Maghreb, covering Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, and as Commercial Finance Business Partner for West Africa. He also led as Head of Finance during a secondment to Unilever Ethiopia, showcasing his versatility across diverse markets.

His leadership has been instrumental in driving business profitability and embedding a results-driven mindset within Unilever’s operations. Sodipe’s transformational capabilities have significantly improved business processes across West and North Africa, earning him recognition within the organization.

As a member of Unilever’s Investor Board for East and West Africa, Sodipe plays a pivotal role in shaping business strategy and portfolio expansion. His strategic insights have been critical in aligning Unilever’s operations with long-term growth objectives in the region.

Sodipe’s passion for meeting consumer needs through top-tier brands is matched by his commitment to driving profitable growth. His focus on strong financial controls and talent development further strengthens Unilever Nigeria’s operational foundation.

Before joining Unilever, Sodipe held key positions at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited and SIAO, honing his financial and strategic acumen. A graduate of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos, he is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
