Toniic, a global community for impact investing, bringing together over 500 asset owners, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations, across more than 25 countries, is hiring a Direct Deals Analyst on a part time basis.
About the Position
Toniic’s part-time Direct Deals analyst position offers a professional at an early stage of their impact investing journey or seeking practical exposure the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in impact investing, deal sourcing, and investor engagement.
Over a 12-month part-time engagement, the analyst will gain direct exposure to a global pipeline of early-stage impact companies. This provides a practical understanding of how different business models, technologies, and financial structures are used to address social and environmental challenges.
The analyst will work closely with the Director of Investment Research to support the Direct Deals program, while contributing meaningfully to our global community of impact investors.
Location: Remote – EMEA Preferred | ~8 hours/week | $15/hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Deal Flow Management
● Review all direct deal inquiries from pre-seed, seed and Series A+ startups and identify promising opportunities
● Invite entrepreneurs to our deal platform and support them in presenting their information Member Engagement
● Write and distribute deal summaries highlighting the specifics of each direct deal
● Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate interest in deals
● Support newsletter updates and scheduling of calls for deals attracting significant member interest
● Assist with hosting ad-hoc Direct Deal calls
● Support the Director with member inquiries and event coordination
Requirements
● Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field current student or graduate</p><p>● Cross-cultural Competency – Ability to effectively understand and engage with diverse people by recognizing and respecting their beliefs, behaviors, and perspectives.
Compensation
● Hourly rate: $15/hour
● Hours: 8 hours/week over 12 months
● 12-month contract position, renewable based on performance and organizational needs. It is not expected to convert into a full-time position.
Location & Hours
● Preference for candidates based in Europe, Middle East, or Africa. This is a remote position
● Flexible schedule (~8 hours per week) to accommodate business school or other professional commitments
● Occasional participation in virtual events and calls; some external events may require limited travel (optional).
