The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2025: Shortlist Revealed

FIFA has officially announced the 10 finalists for the 2025 The Best FIFA Men’s Player award, recognizing the outstanding performers in world football over the past calendar year.

The nominees are:

– Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid / England)

– Mohamed Salah (Liverpool / Egypt)

– Lamine Yamal (Barcelona / Spain)

– Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid / France)

– Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid / Brazil)

– Pedri (Barcelona / Spain)

– Raphinha (Barcelona / Brazil)

– Harry Kane (Bayern Munich / England)

– Ousmane Dembélé (Paris Saint-Germain / France)

– Bukayo Saka (Arsenal / England)

Real Madrid and Barcelona lead the way with three nominees each, underlining the dominance of the two Spanish giants in 2024–25.

Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool are also represented, alongside Bayern Munich and PSG.

The winner will be decided by a combination of votes from national team coaches, captains, selected journalists, and fans worldwide.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in early 2026.

Last year’s winner, Lionel Messi, does not feature on this year’s shortlist as he now plays outside of Europe with Inter Miami.
