Terrorists invaded the Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, kidnapping a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers and several others in a late-night assault.
Residents said between 20 and 30 armed bandits stormed the village with a large herd of cattle, shooting into the air and triggering widespread panic.
A stray bullet hit an old woman during the attack, adding to the fear that gripped the settlement as the gunmen moved through homes.

Community leaders confirmed that 11 people were taken, including seven members of the same family, with victims identified as Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat, Fatima Yusufu, Sarah Sunday, Lami Fidelis and Haja Na Allah.
The attackers reportedly fled through bush paths linking Eruku to nearby communities, leaving residents terrified and unsure of what comes next. The incident comes barely two weeks after bandits raided the Christ Apostolic Church, abducting 38 worshippers before their eventual rescue by authorities.
The latest abduction highlights a growing wave of rural insecurity that has increasingly disrupted life across Kwara State. It also raises fresh questions over community safety as security agencies intensify efforts to prevent further attacks.
