As we expand our reach, we are looking for a skilled Content Creator (Video) to help translate these stories into powerful, engaging visual content that connects with a wider audience.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging short and long-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit original video content that aligns with TechCartel’s voice and goals.
- Repurpose blog and news content into visual formats that are fun, informative, and easy to consume.
- Stay updated with tech and innovation trends to create timely and relevant videos.
- Collaborate with the content and social media team to grow TechCartel’s online presence.
- Add captions, effects, and creative storytelling elements to videos to boost engagement.
- Manage posting schedules and optimize content for each platform’s algorithm.
Skills
- Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
- Good video editing skills (using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a good sense of storytelling and visual trends.
- Basic understanding of tech culture and digital innovation in Africa is a plus.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
