President Donald Trump’s new Board of Peace is an international initiative intended to help resolve the conflict in Gaza and potentially play a larger role in global peace-building. Trump has announced he would serve as chairman, select board members and oversee strategy.

  • Donald J. Trump – Chairman (United States)
  • Marco Rubio – U.S. Secretary of State
  • Steve Witkoff – U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East
  • Jared Kushner – Trump’s son-in-law and adviser
  • Tony Blair – Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
  • Marc Rowan – CEO of Apollo Global Management
  • Ajay Banga – President of the World Bank
  • Robert Gabriel Jr. – Deputy National Security Adviser
  • Nickolay Mladenov – High Representative for Gaza

Invited or Potential Government Members

Countries are represented on the board of peace by heads of state or government and may serve on the board for three years or longer if they contribute at least $1 billion.

Leaders or countries reported to have been invited or publicly acknowledged:

  • Vladimir Putin – President of Russia (invited; Kremlin confirms receipt)
  • Viktor Orbán – Prime Minister of Hungary (accepted invitation)
  • Prime Minister of Vietnam (accepted invitation)
  • King Mohammed VI of Morocco – Accepted invitation as a member state representative.
  • Recep Tayyip Erdoğan – President of Turkey (considering invitation)
  • Israel – Has been invited to join, though authorities have not confirmed participation.
  • Argentina’s President Javier Milei – Reportedly invited and indicated interest.
  • Additional invitations have been reportedly sent to Canada, Egypt, Jordan, Greece, Cyprus, Pakistan, India, Australia, France and other nations, though not all have confirmed acceptance.
